Yesterday, the Lummi Nation’s epic Totem Pole journey to raise awareness of the coal export terminals, coal mining, and Bakken/Tar sands oil exports came to Seattle. The pole will travel 6,000 miles starting from South Dakota to the Tar Sands stopping in impacted tribal and non-tribal communities along the way. Seattle marked its halfway point.

Master carver Jewell James (Lummi) reminded us all that now is the time for us to Warrior in protection of Mother Earth.

Pakistan army intervenes in political crisis.
If this doesn’t tell you that innocent men and women are being used as pawns by ISI-backed Khan and Qadri against an equally reprehensible civilian leadership that of Nawaz’s, I don’t know what will. In rudimentary terms, the most dispossessed and cheated on person in this ugly mess is the average Pakistani civilian who simply wants a better and safer tomorrow.

Important update.

Peaceful protesting going on earlier in Pakistan before chaos and police brutality broke out. Mothers, fathers, daughters and sons coming together alongside other families and friends to stand against the political/governmental corruption. (picture cred)

You think there’d be young children out there if the crowds intentions were to deliberately break out in riots?

Update pakistan;
1. They are stopping people from giving blood to protestors who are bleeding out
2. They are forcing doctors not to report number of deaths and injuries
3. They have hit people with real steel bullets instead of rubber one’s
4. They are sending severely injured people home without giving them proper treatment
